Bold Definitely Dahlia and a big Happy Hello - Die Cut Stacked Shadow Layering With Large Letter Framelits Dies

I am hoping that these cards do as I intended - put a smile on the face of the recipients. These are amongst the cards that will be going out to my customers come the end of the month.

I love how the same design looks so cool in different colour combinations.  I stuck to bright ..... because I just love crisp and bright !  I also love the technique of stacked shadow layering, using the same colour card stock as the ink to act as a shadow for the die cut word/sentiment.

The cards have a modern and contemporary vibe.

I love them.  Hope you do too.  If you haven't tried the technique ...... then give it a go.  You will be hooked !

That's it from me today - thanks for looking and please pop back again.

Bye for now.

Linda xx

  4. Thank you Linda, I haven't seen this shadowing effect on large lettering before (at least I don't think I have) but it is such a cool technique. I definitely will be using it in the future when I am using my large letters on my projects. I will try out a similar design to yours with different ink colours as this is a quick way of producing a set of cards. I am always in need of cards to send to my crafty friends. :O)
