Chalky Falling Flowers in Sweet Sugarplum

Last week I designed a card using the lovely Falling Flowers stamp set for the first time.   For that project I used Night of Navy card stock with gold heat embossing and added some chalky white ink with a blender pen. http://www.papercraftwithcrafty.co.uk/2018/02/falling-flowers-from-stampin-up-chalky.html

Its such a pretty stamp set that I decided to try the exact same technique again but this time I used clear heat embossed images on Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.  I love the contrast of the white blending with this colour.

I  offset the sentiment to the right of my card front and framed it with some die cut circular frames and I really love the result.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for looking and please pop back again.

  1. LInda, I love this design.

I thought you had the sentiment inside the card and then cut offset the circle die. So when the recipient opens the card the sentiment would still be on the outside and on the inside. But that is not what you have done, but it is an option for may be next time. The stamps from 'Falling Flowers' and 'Lots of Love' go well together on this design. Love the Sugarplum colour.

    :O)
