I sponged on some Island Indigo, Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist.
I loved the blend of colours on my card stock and when I was happy with the coverage, it struck me how pretty this would look with some stencilling. I grabbed the closest thing to a stencil, which just happened to be my Delicate White Doilies.
Placing a doilie on the card base, I sponged over it in Island Indigo. Then I repositioned it a couple of times on the lighter areas and sponged over again, this time using Pool Party.
I was thrilled with the result - its really soft, subtle and pretty !
Then out came my favourite Saleabration freebie, Amazing You. I love the sentiment which I stamped off before applying to the card stock, for a softer tone of Island Indigo. Simply die cut with my Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layer Ovals Framelits Dies, the topper is perfect and the injection of the crisp white just lifts the whole thing.
Its just a lovely little card - and I shall definitely use those Delicate Doilies for this technique again.
Thanks for looking. I hope you will pop back again.
Bye for now,
Linda xx
