Emboss Resist Hardwood & Flower Shop Stamp Sets

I really do enjoy the emboss/resist technique of stamping.

Here I have used clear heat embossing on Whisper White card stock and sponged on some Pool Party ink for a soft and pretty card.

The large Hardwood background stamp is perfect for this size of card.  My layer is cut to 5 x 3/5 inches to adhere to a Whisper Note Card base.

I used my Flower Shop stamp set for the second time this week with the Pansy and Leaf Punches to add some dimension and texture.

Stitched Shapes framelits were used to create the topper and the sentiment is from the Daisy Delight stamp set.

I love this sweet little card, which will be going out in one of my "Thank You" packs at the end of the month.   Hope my customer likes it !

Thanks for stopping by, and please pop back again.

Bye for now,

Linda xx

  1. Hi Linda,

What a sweet little Thank You card in a beautiful colour. You have combined quite a lot of different elements from a variety of stamp sets/dies etc. to create this card. This is where I get a little lost when trying to create a design. Do you have everything out in your craft room so that you can see exactly what you have got? I find this difficult because my craft things are all packed in cupboards so to create I have to decide what I want and get it out or otherwise get it all out (which really is not an option). I have got a sample of all my embossing folders on a ring which is really handy so I can flick through this before going to the box where they are stored. I think I need to think of other ways of knowing what I have like my embossing folders. Any ideas to help me Linda?
