I clear heat embossed the floral stamp from the Birthday Blooms stamp set all over a piece of square watercolour paper. Then using an Aqua Painter I put down lots of water completely covering my square.
I chose an assortment of inks, Melon Mambo, So Saffron, Wisteria Wander, Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzazz and picked up the colours with my brush and let them all merge in a really pretty and colourful pastel array of colours, the water having muted the inks into a soft and delicate palette.
I left it to dry out naturally before trimming it to fit a Bermuda Bay 8 x 4 base scored at 4 inches.
I used my Stitched Shapes for the circular topper, stamping the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink to match the card stock.
I loved working with all these beautiful colours to make what I think is a really pretty little card.
Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking and I hope you will pop back again.
Bye for now.
