Isn't it great to sit with an entirely blank canvas - playing around and watching something special emerge ? That is what happened when I started playing about with a scrap piece of card and a circular blending tool (Tim Holtz). I stamped circles using the sponge in shades of Island Indigo and Bermuda Bay and Pool Party. All the circles overlapped each other at some point. It was all very random. Then I stamped the Butterfly in Bermuda Bay across the card. Once I had done this I used the blender tool to softly blend everything in Bermuda Bay.
I used my Lovely Words Thinlits as the focal point, die-cuting three extra layers of the word hugs in Island Indigo cardstock, and adhered to the back of the customised layer.
It was then a question of clear heat embossing the whole of the card. The sentiment was clear heat embossed three times for a really super shiny result.
I backed my card with some fun foam, having die cut a circle which was slightly larger than that of the Thinlits Die.
I enjoyed making the card so much, I produced it again in a completely different colour combination of Calypso Coral, Tangerine Tango and So Saffron.
Hope you like the idea. Thanks for looking and I would love you to pop back again sometime.
Bye for now.

VERY COOL!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you heat embossed the whole of the outside of the card stock. I love the effect this has on the background. I will have to give this a go, thank you. :O)
