Then I chose a selection of inks and blended them subtly in Night of Navy, Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist.
The sentiment is from the One Big Meaning stamp set.
This card fits a C6 envelope, so is cut at 8 1/2 x 6 inches. The Night of Navy base is scored at 4 1/4 inches on the long side.
I like the dramatic contrast of the blues and the white heat embossing. It showcases the Dahlia perfectly.
Hope you like it. Thanks for looking and I would love you to pop back again.
Bye for now,
Linda xx

I love how you use older stamps instead of just the ones that are available in the most recent catalog. It helps me remember to use them as well. Love your card and the background you created. Thanks for always sharing.

Stunning card Linda. The colours work so well together. Another technique to try. Christine xx
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to try out white heat embossing because it looks amazing under these blended inks. Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. :O)
