Rose Wonder - Heat Embossed Vellum

I had another little play with my Rose Wonder stamp set this week.   Earlier in the week I stamped the rose and practised blending with my Stampin' Blends.

This is a totally different use of the stamp and I love how delicately pretty it looks heat embossed in white embossing powder on vellum.   The Pink Pirouette background compliments it perfectly.  I used another brand of embossing powder for this project, because I wanted the embossing to be a very bright white.  Stampin' Up! does a white embossing powder, but the intensity of the white is not as bright as I was wanting for this particular project.

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

I cut around the rose and leaves and the vellum sheet is held in place by a long and very thin (3mm wide) strip of double sided tape.  The ribbon embellishment hides the adhesive strip from view.

It was a quick project and I love how clean and simple and unfussy it looks.

Hope you like it.  Thanks for looking.

Have a great weekend and bye for now.
