Springtime Foils - Such a Pretty Way to Dress Up My Team Welcome Gifts

I have had a very busy week purging my craft room.

It was long overdue.  It's quite astounding how much I have amassed over the years.  I am a messy crafter - there is just no getting away from the fact.   But such mess was really compounding my ability to work and craft effectively.   Push came to shove when one of my poor drawers suffered a malfunction and the bottom bowed under the sheer weight of the stuff I had crammed in it.   A good old clear out of that led to an entire clean sweep of the whole room.

I found stuff I forgot I ever had !  Anyway, I am pleased to say that a couple of my local charity shops have benefitted from my purge, which  has left clear drawers and spaces on shelves, and I am free to finally catch up on a backlog of tasks, one of which was completing my latest Team Welcome Gift package.

I love to turn those Full Wide Stamp Cases into useful little cases for my new team members.  They do look cute and my Welcome Gifts contain chocolate treats, matching covered note pads and swatches of all Stampin' Up!s colour families.  Customised with DSP of your choice and a smart little handle, these really do make eye-catching little gifts.  Great for Craft Fayres too.

One member of my fabulous team has turned up at a couple of my events along with the little case I made for her, in which she carries useful crafting bits and pieces.  I think it's fair to say, she loves hers.

Anyway - cutting to the chase, here is a photo of just how pretty these cases can look using the gorgeous Springtime Foils Specialty DSP.  I liked it so much, I made one for myself this time !!

Springtime Foils are only available until 31 March as a free item from the Sale A Bration Brochure.  I will be very sad to see them go.  They have been a huge hit with my customers this year.

Oh - and if you have been considering becoming a demonstrator, then you only have until 31st March to take advantage of the current Joining Promotion.   Pay a fee of £99 and select your own customised kit worth £130 to suit your specific crafting needs AND also two free stamp sets of your choice worth up to a combined total of £90.    If you would like more information about becoming a member of my team just click the link below or contact me.  I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Well I am off to spend some crafty time in my newly tidy craft zone !!

Before I go, I thought I would share a photo of the really useful IKEA pegboard and accessories that I bought.  The small clear plastic containers are great for holding washi tape, etc and my glues, etc., sit neatly on top.  The little trays hold my assortment of embossing powders.

Thanks for looking.  I hope you will pop back again.

Bye for now.

Linda xx

  1. Linda, must be that time of year! I have just sorted out my craft/sewing room as well. Love the IKEA pegboard idea. Could use the space with my magnetic board for that. I seldom use the board as it is. And, also love the storage items that IKEA have. all my cabinets etc are from IKEA as well. Just received my order with some of these wide cases and plan on doing something like you have done with them. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Have fun Dianne - hope you feel as relieved as I do to have things straight. The pegboard is brilliant. Comes in three different sizes. Mine is 76 x 56 cm

I love that little case! Where did you find the handles? Also, do you have instructions?

  5. The inspire card with the Spring foils is so very elegant. How did you make the flower, it looks like the Flower Shop stamp? It matches your foils so perfect. I would use your flower idea?

    Thank you for your reply.
