Monochromatic Dragonfly Dreams and Painted Harvest

I love working in monochrome.  It's simple but can be quite dramatic too.

After I had worked at colouring my gorgeous dragonfly with a blender pen, in shades of Pool Party, Island Indigo and Bermuda Bay, I decided to clear heat emboss it.

Having done so, I also clear embossed the leafy details and the sentiment too on my single layer card,  which is cut at 10 x 3.5 inches and scored at 5 inches to fit an envelope from my note cards pack.

I love how crisp, bright and clean it looks.

Hope you like it too.

Thanks for visiting.  I have been quiet for a few days, but hope to be up to speed again shortly.

Bye for now.

  2. Love it Linda, it just shows what a difference embossing powder does to both an image and a background. What looked good before heat embossing looks stunning after! Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. :O)
