My project today is small but very cute !
This little Easel Card was designed to fit a 3 x 3 inch envelope. It measures 6 x 3 inches and is scored at 3 and 4.5 inches to form the Easel. I used the largest of my square Stitched Shapes Framelits dies to form the focal point, die cutting two Whisper White Squares, one of which I used as a backing for the layer that is coloured and blended. This is because the ink does seep through onto the reverse of the coloured layer which can be a bit of an eyesore. I also die cut a frame for the pretty kitty using Wood Textures DSP.
The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set - such a useful set with many different words to suit lots of different occasions, which I coordinated with the Duet Banner Punch. This sits at the base of the Easel element, mounted on Mini Dimensionals and the Easel element sits in place behind it.
I love the Pretty Kitty stamp set. The images are adorable and perfect if you enjoy a spot of colouring.
There is a small area on the reverse of the card on which I have stamped "Happy Birthday" where you can add a personal message to the recipient.
I really did enjoy making this miniature card. Hope you like the idea.
Thanks for looking - and please pop back again.
Bye for now.

I love this idea Linda, as I have quite a lot of small envelopes which I cannot say where they have come from but they are in my craft stash. This project will be idea for this and I also love my Pretty Kitty and my Bella and Friends which would be ideal for this sized card. I was also thinking about my We Must Celebrate critters and the characters from Myths and Magic. Oooooh I have so many ideas now for these little projects, thank you. :O)xx
