OK then ....... well and truly gutted !
Whatever ..... I know its silly to get overly attached, but I was so very disappointed that Awesomely Artistic is one of those gorgeous sets that Stampin' Up! have chosen to retire at the end of May. It's one that I have really had my money's worth from. I have used it over and over and over again. If I had to pick my favourite, then this one is right up there. It has proved to be a brilliantly versatile stamp set.
I gave it the Lemon Lime Twist monotone treatment here and combined it with another retiring set - Just Add Text for this pretty note card sized project.
So, while it is sad for me that these two stamp sets are on the Retiring List, I am waiting with eager anticipation to get my mitts on some of the new stamp sets which have been waving at me from the pages of the new Annual Catalogue.
I wonder what my new favourites will be ?
I am off to start planning a revamp of my horrible lean too conservatory. I need to sweep out the cobwebs and look at filling it with some gorgeous lushcious plants. It has no blinds or shading and gets very hot in the summer. I have been doing some research and understand that Bourgainvillea (dwarf), Jasmine and Olive Plants should be good. If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them.
Have a lovely Sunday.
