Today's card looks pretty simple and straightforward doesn't it? What do you think - a 20 minute job? I wish !!
This card, once I had mastered the art of not getting myself all in a stamping mess, was quite nice and quick. I chose to employ the masking technique for the second day running. Achieving my finished example through trial and error took me about an hour and lots of wasted card stock. For the particularly strong shades of Island Indigo and Rich Razzleberry - I also used the "Stamp On-Stamp Off" technique to soften the colours.
The Butterfly Basics stamp set and coordinating Butterflies Thinlits Dies will not be making their way into the new Annual Catalogue on 1 June, so if you like them and have been dithering about whether or not to treat yourself, just bear in mind they are now only available until 31 May or while stocks last. The sentiment is from the stamp set Floral Phrases.
Well that's it from me today - I have to say that by the end of this crafting session, I had multicoloured fingers, even wrists !! I was one inky mess. Does this happen to you when you are crafting ?
Thanks for looking, and I would love for you to pop back again sometime.
Have a lovely day.
Linda xx

DeleteStunning technique - masking. A video would be so useful, please. I love your teachings. Tried this masking technique and I had more ink on me and my desk than on the 7 pieces of cardstock I used trying this technique. Obviously I am a beginner, so yes, yes, yes, a video please.
