I used a recipe of Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo and the Love What You Do stamp set for this very feminine little card, adding the pretty new Powder Pink Mini Ruffled Ribbon, which tones beautifully with Flirty Flamingo, to give the card extra texture.
The flowers and sentiment were stamped first in Flirty Flamingo Ink using the Stamparatus and then stamped again with Versamark before been heat embossed with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder.
The flowers were coloured in using a Blender Pen.
I rather like the way this card evolved. It's not a regular card base as you will see from this rear shot. The front is Whisper White and the base is Flirty Flamingo. Its just a subtle detail, but I like that it makes it a little different.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking.
See you again tomorrow.
Bye for now.

ReplyDeleteI really love this card but I am confused by your description and what you used to make the card. You say "It's not a regular card base as you will see from this rear shot. The front is Whisper White and the base is Flirty Flamingo." You then show the back of the card and you have a strip of white cardstock showing on the top but the inside of the card is showing white cardstock on the front and Flirty Flamingo on the back and the front of the card with the flowers stamped on it is white cardstock but the Flirty Flamingo is showing but it appears to be muted like you put a piece of vellum on first before attaching the front of the card. I am a bit confused. Can you help me get a clear understanding. Thanks a million.
