My son's lovely girlfriend reaches that milestone birthday today, and by golly it does make me feel old. I can remember approaching mine with fear thinking it sounded terribly old - and now I am well on my way to doubling that !!!)
Anyway I like to try and make a personalised cards when I can, and for this card, out came my Scan n Cut.
I have always liked Word/Name Shaped Cards and this is my first try. It was super easy thanks to an excellent video tutorial by John Bloodworth The Gentleman Crafter (apart from struggling to get the right size to fit a C6 envelope, but I managed after a little trial and error).
I used Flirty Flamingo card stock for the card base and some gorgeous Brights 6 x 6 DSP to spell out Sara's name.
I stamped out the sentiment using stamps from both the Thoughtful Banners and Make a Difference stamp sets before cutting out a cute little birthday banner. I added some die cut flowers (a non-SU brand) and the leaves are from the Foliage Frame Framelits Dies.
Holding my breath now and waiting to find out if she likes it. Hope you do too.
Thanks for looking. See you again soon.
Bye for now.
Linda xx
