Envelope Punch Board Post It Note Holders

I love the Envelope Punch Board for the versatility it offers.   The name suggests nothing more than an envelope maker, whilst the reality is that I have used mine for a multitude of different 3D projects, from boxes, cute Easter and Christmas baskets, mugs and even teapots ....... yes teapots !!

I stumbled across a cute video by Deb Valder which has inspired my project today - a really handy little Post It Note Holder with belly band.

Deb's original project was designed for small sized Post It Notes.  I have adapted her basic design to hold a 3 x 3 inch wad of Post It Notes.  I love the File Tabs.   Its a really quick and easy little project.  You could attach magnetic sheets to the reverse side and create a handy fridge magnet.  They would also be fun little pillow gifts and stocking fillers for stationery lovers.

If you would like to have a go, I have made a quick step by step video tutorial.

Thanks for looking.

I am off to tidy my very untidy craft space !!

  1. Love this. Your posting is so timely. I needed an easy envelope punch board project for a 4 year-old who may be attending my Stamp & Chat gathering today and your project is perfect for her. Thanks so much for sharing

  2. That's brilliant Peggy. Happy to have helped you out :)

  3. A great little project Linda, I have an envelope punch board which I haven't used as yet but I have now watched two different video tutorials in which the board has been used to create a different type of project other than envelopes. I certainly will be giving both a go shortly. This is such a great way to make a small 'thank you' gift or as part of a stationery pack. I love the fact that you used So Saffron instead of Crushed Curry because I think that colours can be used if they are slightly the same. Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. :O) xx
