Well - I kid you not ......... about two and a half minutes was all it took !
In among the beautiful designs for the papers in the Petal Promenade 12 x 12 Design Series Papers are a set of pretty floral frames in squares and rectangles. The rectangle frames, I discovered, are the perfect size for adhering to Stampin' Up!s Note Cards.
One of my customers had asked what I was going to do with the sheets of floral frames - well the answer is not much ! The pretty frames do all the work, all I needed to do was to select a suitable sentiment, coordinating cardstock (Mossy Meadow), coordinating ink (again Mossy Meadow) and I had two very pretty Greetings Cards.
I know it's not super creative, but it puts those papers to good use, and there are those times when you really do need a card in a jiffy................................. plus I do not like buying cards if I can help it.
These are very simple and super quick and I think they look really pretty. I have two lovely ladies lined up who will be receiving them shortly.
Tomorrow I have a really cute "little" project using the square floral frames.
Thanks for looking and bye for now.

ReplyDeleteWhy not use the DSP in this way, that is what it has been printed for. A good colour card stock layer and a great sentiment and it is ready to go! Thank you for sharing this with us Linda; I certainly will be looking for more ways to create quick cards such as this. :o) xx
