I am back on my quest for using colours that either I haven't used before, or seldom use. Petal Pink is one of the new colours introduced to the Subtles range of colours and although I ordered mine back in June when it was launched, it hasn't seen the light of day ......... until now.
Anyway, I thought a nice way to showcase it would be to use the Varied Vases Photopolymer Bundle. I love the stamp set and the coordinating punch. Used together you can create some really pretty little 3D type cards.
Being a big fan of monotone cards, I stamped and heat embossed the flowers in white and then coloured in the flowers with my dark Petal Pink Blends Marker Pen.
I decided that a little bling would be a nice touch, so popped on a few rhinestones.
I am a little disappointed with the crinkly corner ... one of the perils of taking a bunch of projects away on holiday and getting a little bashed in transit !
Anyway that's it from me for today. Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking and bye for now.

ReplyDeletethis is so sweet and gentle. I love it. I love that stamp set too, but would not have thought of doing it like this. I hope you don't mind if I copy! It is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the monotone colours used in this project Linda, I have used my Varied Vases stamp set and punch quite a lot but not for a monotone look card. That maybe should be my next project; thank you for the inspiration. TFS :O) xxx
