My Tropical Chic bundle arrived mid week, around the time my "Missing In Action" Large Letters Framelits returned to the fold.
As I hadn't made an Eclipse card in quite some time, I decide to put those large letters to good use.
It may not be clear from the photo, but I have layered the letters on three different colours of die-cut card stock' meaning that I die-cut the word "Rock" in Highland Heather, Lovely Lipstick and Coastal Cabana and stacked each set of coloured letters on top of each other before adhering the final Eclipse Cut sentiment. This gives great dimension and you can see each colour when handling and looking closely at the finished card. Something that is not readily apparent from the photo, but I can assure you it is the case.
I added the cute little black heat embossed banner. The word "You" comes from my Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. It's the perfect size - not too big and not too small.
I love this stamp set/bundle. I have not opened the coordinating framelits just yet, but I plan to put them to good use over the coming week.
Now .... I usually make cards to give away to friends and family, but this card is just not going anywhere. I love the colours, the stamps and the subtle gold accents of the heat embossing.
So I guess I shall just have to replicate it and keep this one for posterity !
Anyway, I hope you find it as cheery as I do. Have a great Sunday.
See you next week.
