Countdown to Christmas Project No. 5 - Mini Hanging Chocolate Treat Boxes With Video Tutorial

It's a little later than planned this week - but today I have project number 5 of 12 in my Countdown to Christmas.

These little hanging chocolate treat boxes are really very diddy, measuring 1 3/8 inch square in capacity.   Mine hold either 5 Hershey Kisses or one Ferrero Rocher which will give you some idea of the size.

They are super quick and easy to make and you can get four out of one sheet of 12 x 12 inch DSP.

I am thinking that they would make a lovely Advent project if you were to stamp numbers 1-25 on them and get your kids to find the relevant one on the tree each day on the run-up to Christmas Day?  Or you could just have a little dedicated tree specifically for this purpose.  I wish I had thought to suggest that on my video.

I hope you like this little project and feel inspired to have a go.

Thanks for looking - have a lovely day.

  1. Love these Linda - thanks for sharing. Can I please ask where you get your Hershey chicks from - I used to get mine from Asda but haven’t seen them recently! Many thanks x

Love your little boxes. Yes they have inspired me to make up an Advent Calendar out of them.
