This is the board - and here are some of the lovely projects that the talented and creative ladies came up with (please make sure to follow the links at the end to see Maggie and Wendy's interpretation of the board too) :-
This was my entry for which I chose to use the middle vertical line - you will note a teeny tiny vellum snowflake, used to create some texture. I used the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and Swirly Snowflake Thinlits. See Product List below.
Its in a pretty non-traditional colourway. I teamed Flirty Flamingo with Whisper White.
And now a little roll call for the rest of the participating team:-
This is an amazing creation by Shelley Pizzey who is a demonstrator based in Great Bentley, Essex. Shelley selected the top line and created a gorgeous box to hold a Christmas decoration. She used the Hometown Greetings Thinlits. I think it's beautiful and very sophisticated.
Next up we have a really pretty project from Linda Brown an Independent Demonstrator from Winkleigh in Devon who is a team member of Wendy Porters "Crafty Piglets". Linda has selected the bottom horizontal line and used the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder, Foliage Frame Bundle and Special Celebration stamp set.
The next project is by Madeleine Messenger an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator based in Plymouth, Devon. Madeleine selected the diagonal line going from top left for this beautiful Christmas Card. The sentiment is from Peaceful Noel stamp set, heat embossed in silver. She used the Blizard thinlits dies for the snowflakes. Madeleine created a circular aperture behind which is a piece of vellum, making clever use of the Blizzard Thinlits as a stencil, embossing the snowflakes in white embossing powder. Wink of Stella was applied to the snowflakes too, along with pretty pearly embellishments.
