I decided to make an "unconventional" Christmas Card, in that there is no Christmas sentiment or obvious Christmas imagery - just the sparkly word "Snow" and a simple snowflake embellished with some pretty dainty pearls. I used my Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits for the large snowflake which I cut from the die cut snowflake banner.
If you look carefully, you will notice that the square toppers on which I have mounted the letters have been dry embossed. I did this using the Blizzard Thinlits Die, my new Embossing Mats and my Big Shot. I will post a video produced by Stampin' Up! demonstrating the embossing technique at the end of this post.
My card is 6 x 6 inches square (so 6 x 12 and scored at 6 inches).
I hope you like it - I do !
Thanks for looking and I hope you will pop back.
Bye for now. Have a great weekend.
Oh yes - here is that video:-
