I used some very subtle layering of Flirty Flamingo card stock and DSP here for the base of my card, before applying some carefully cut Delightfully Detailed DSP to the centre of my layer. Then I stamped the sentiment in co-ordinating Flirty Flamingo ink for a nice monotone effect. This is from the Detailed With Love stamp set and forms the focal point. I die cut the sentiment with my Stitched Shapes dies and applied it over the delicate laser-cut flowers and leaves using dimensionals, to give it some height and dimension.
I finished off with a few pearl embellisments.
It was so easy to create this little card. I love the way it turned out and I think that I will make up a bunch in lots of different colours to go out to my November customers, so they can judge for themselves just how pretty the laser-cut DSP really is.
Thanks for looking and I hope that you will pop back for my next project.
I continue to battle with a horrible cold/flu virus. This is why I have been unable to video projects 9 and 10 in my Countdown to Christmas, which feels like a huge blow. But I have little/no voice ..... which my family are finding very amusing. So my apologies to those of you who follow my Countdown to Christmas. I hate letting people down and I do honestly hope to be back in action soon.
Have a lovely week. Bye for now.
