Scallop Circle Punch Makes a Pretty Flower #SimpleStamping

Today's project is this cute little greetings card using Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper and three punches; the Leaf Punch, 1 1/8 inch Scallop Circle Punch and the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch.

For the cute little flower I used the Scallop Circle Punch, snipping every two scallops towards the centre of the punched circle.  I embellished the centre of my little flower with a Glitter Enamel Dot in Coastal Cabana to coordinate with the pretty printed paper.  By adding some punched leaves which I shaped around the tip of my scoring stylus, I created a really pretty little topper which would also look great on gift boxes too.

Instead of using ribbon to define the border between the paper and the cardstock, I punched out a lovely decorative strip with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch, and finished off by heat embossing the sentiment which is from the Eastern Beauty stamp set.

I love this little design and I hope it demonstrates just how versatile those Scallop Circle Punches are.  The Scallop Circle Punches come in two sizes.  Please click on the photos in the product list below for more details.

Thanks for looking - and please pop back.

Enjoy what's left of your weekend.

Bye for now,

Linda xx
