Be Mine Stitched Framelits & Well Written Framelits Dies - No Stamping Involved !

Well with Valentine's day just over a month away, I guess now that Christmas is out of the way, it's time to be concentrating on Cupid and his little bow and arrow !

I chose to order the Be Mine Stitched Framelits from the new Spring/Summer Catalogue because I just fell for the gorgeous variety of heart shaped framelits which have a mix of faux stitched dies along with some plain ones and a gorgeous filigree one plus a few very useful non-heart decorative dies.  These are perfect for card making and also for decorating your 3D projects.  I do have a couple of box projects in mind, so stay tuned for those in some later postings here on my Blog.

Anyway, I decided to die cut the largest stitched heart and also the pretty filigree one from the pack three times.  I then stacked each of them.   Stacking dies has become one of my favourite techniques when using dies, purely because when applied to your card base, the stacked dies give such great dimension and clarity.

You will see that no stamps were injured in the making of this card (LOL !), because I simply did not do any stamping !

I chose to invest in another great pack of framelits from the new catalogue.  These are the Well Written Framelits Dies.   This is because the pack contains a varied assortment of word dies which are going to prove to be extremely useful for my cardmaking.  Their appeal to me is their size.  They are small without being too small and do not detract from your card designs.

I put two together to form the sentiment for today's pretty project and I think they work beautifully.

So there you have it ........ my first Valentine project of 2019 in all its unstamped glory !   I do hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by and I do hope you will pop back.

Bye for now.

Linda xx
