Falling Flowers in Black & White with Golden Written Words

I saw a square card on Pinterest using this formula but with a different brand and products, and it inspired me to get out my Stampin' Up! goodies to recreate my own little black and white number with subtle gold accents.

I used my Falling Flowers stamp set on Whisper White card stock and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and die cut the top layer and the topper with my new Stitched Rectangle Framelits (these are perfect for creating a subtle stitched frame around your subject/focal point).

The sentiment is one of the many useful dies from my Well Written Framelits set.  Die-cutting that several times in black and stacking it before finishing up with a gold foil die-cut, adds a lovely touch with great definition.

Its all just very simple but I think it looks pretty effective.

I do hope you like it.  Thanks for visiting and I would love you to pop back.

Happy crafting.  I am nursing a particularly nasty cold ..... so will probably be taking things very easy today.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks.  Bye for now.

  1. Lovely chic looking card. Hope you feel better soon. I turned another year older yesterday so I'm just chilling today. I don't like birthdays normally but just glad to still be here to celebrate this one!
