Floral Romance and Butterfly Elements

Look closer !  Can you believe this is printed Vellum ?  This design is just one of several in the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack of 12 x 12 inch papers.  Two of the designs are printed on vellum, this being one of them.  The others are beautiful too and are printed on non-vellum paper.

I decided to use this beautiful print for a quick and simple Thank You card.  The quality of the vellum really is just fabulous.

I die-cut the Vellum using Stitched Rectangle Framelits.  The topper has been die-cut with my Stitched shapes Framelits and the "Thank You" sentiment is one of a huge assortment from the incredibly useful pack of Well Written Framelits.

The word dies were cut three times from thick Whisper White card stock and I also die-cut a word from a piece of the vellum.  These were all then stacked and then adhered to topper.   Stacking gives such great dimension and definition.

I finished the whole thing with a simple wooden Butterfly Element.  I love these.  They are among a selection of free products that can be yours if you spend £45 (excluding shipping costs) on an order.  They are great quality and can be left plain or, if you are feeling adventurous, they can be coloured too !  I am going to try staining some with ink and then clear heat embossing ... so watch this space for the results.

I do hope you like this simple design .... I am pleased with it.

Thanks for looking.  Please pop back again.

Happy crafting and bye for now !
