I do struggle with not going on auto-pilot and reaching for my favourite colour palettes when making cards. I love subtle and not so subtle shades of pink and soft blues and neutral shades.
Working with stronger colours is something I do tend to shy away from and I tend to opt for pretty and elegant formats.
So I selected the leafy die, the birdie, little heart and cute butterfly and lay down my design. After moving things around my single layer card base a few times, I finally settled on a design that I was happy with.
I used some of my other staples, the Stitched Shapes and Layering Circle Framelits for the topper.
I am super pleased with the result. I have been told I have a "signature style" although that baffles me because I am not sure I do ...... but if I do ....... then I am sure this is a whole world away from my "safe "go to".. more traditional" style of card making. But it's so sweet, it actually makes me smile.
Of course, you don't have to invest the Well Said Bundle. You could just opt for the dies separately if you have lots of sentiment stamps already. I think that just the Well Written Dies offer so much versatility. So, in the Product List below I will list both the bundle and the dies separately and you are welcome to take a closer look.
Thanks for stopping by and please come back for a return visit.
Happy crafting and bye for now.
