Working in Powder Pink card stock, I die cut one of the two fabulous large background butterfly dies that come with the pack of Butterfly Beauty Thinlits.
I also die cut a Stitched Rectangle frame which I adhered to the front of my butterflies and trimmed as there was a little overhang from the butterflies, peeking out behind the frame. I cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock to fit behind my framed butterflies too.
Then I simply adhered that to my Powder Pink base and heat embossed the sentiment in white on black card stock and made a little banner. I have added some shape to the banner with my bone folder, by curving the end of the banner and placing a double layer of dimensions behind the centre of it.
I added a faux stitched layer of Whisper White to the inside of my card, where I shall write a message, which I think adds a nice touch.
I love how it turned out. Hope you do too.
Thanks for looking and I hope you will pop back.
The Valentine project I promised yesterday has been put on hold until Friday, when I hope to have a video tutorial for that project uploaded.
Bye for now and happy crafting !
