Well I enjoyed using those products so much that I decided to case a project from the Annual catalogue (page 61). Its a little Sampler in a shadowbox. These are super easy to make and there are many tutorials on Youtube for creating shadow boxes. I have one for a book shadow box which shows you how to cut and fold the card stock to obtain a shadow box. I will post it at the end of this blog post and it is purely for reference only.
For this Apron of Love Sampler I used a piece of Whisper White 12 x 12 inch card stock.
I scored @ 3/4, 1 -1/2, 2-1/4, 3, 9, 9-3/4, 10-1/2 & 11-1/4 inches.
Turn the card once and repeat.
Keep it in the score board and score @ 3-3/4 & 8-1/4 down to the second horizontal score line.
Rotate the card 180 degrees and repeat.
I just love how my Sampler turned out. Hope you like it too.
This old video tutorial of mine talks you through the scoring and cutting instructions for putting a shadow box together, but obviously the size of the card stock and scoring measurements will be as detailed above and not as per my video:-
Thanks for looking and have a lovely day.
Happy crafting.
