Climbing Roses Revisited - Mother's Day Card

I cased a card by Cindy Elam and blogged about it earlier in the week.   I decided to use the same layout again on a smaller note card and added a piece of Gingham Gala background for this Mother's Day card.  For this one I decided to try the Inlay Die-Cutting Technique by leaving some of the trellis frame die-cuts in-situ, rather than popping them all out.

I used the same Blends Marker Pens as I did for my previous project, because the colours complimented the Balmy Blue gingham paper so nicely.

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings two part stamp set which has 32 useful sentiments for all sorts of occasions.

I like how it turned out.  It's amazing how different it looks with the simple addition of some DSP (Designer Series Paper).

Well that's my little offering for today.  Hope you like it.  Thanks for looking.

Happy Friday everyone !
