So today's project is just that - and I love it ! I added a splash of colour with my Stampin' Blends Marker Pens and I really think it looks quite sophisticated.
The Climbing Roses Bundle is one that I have used a fair bit since the introduction of the Spring/Summer Catalogue. By purchasing both the stamp set and the framelits together as a bundle saves 10%. Of course, they can be purchased separately, so I have listed both the Bundle Price and the individual costs in my Product List below.
I do love floral cards and who doesn't like a bit of fancy die-cutting. I made an oval aperture in my card base and used the Trellis die-cut, layering it behind an oval frame which I had created using both my Layering Ovals Framelits and my Stitched Shapes Framelits.
I die cut the Rose twice and made myself a little jigsaw-puzzle (I love jigsaw-puzzles); colouring one of the roses with a selection of blends. I popped out the coloured pieces from the coloured rose and discarded the frame and switched them for the non-coloured elements in the other die-cut rose.
The sentiment comes from the Climbing Roses stamp set and I chose to heat emboss that in gold.
I am very happy with how it all came together. Hope you like it.
Thank you for looking. I hope you will pop back for a return visit.
That's it for today, so bye for now ................ Happy stampin'.
