I decided to use the basic box, stamping this time with the really pretty Abstract Impressions photopolymer stamp set. I chose a colour which I don't tend to use very often - Petal Pink.
The flower image I selected is a two step stamp. I went with the second generation stamping technique for this, loading my base stamp with ink, stamping onto a scrap of card once, before stamping again directly onto my box lid template. This gives a very muted, lighter shade of Petal Pink. Then I came in with the second stamp, this time loaded with Calypso Coral ink and stamped directly over each of the base flowers. I did the same using Pear Pizzazz for the leafy motifs.
The gorgeous butterfly topper is from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies which form part of this Bundle. I die cut my butterfly in Petal Pink and added it to the lid. I wanted to embellish it further, so I added a bow using Silver and Petal Pink Bakers Twine.
You will note from the photo that I lined the base of my box with some Pear Pizzazz card stock to tone with the pattern stamped on the lid.
I have to say that I love how pretty it looks.
This is my original video for Thove's box, if you fancy having a little go:-
