I decided to make some pretty cubed inserts for Stampin' Up!'s clear tiny treat boxes and chose to use the beautiful new Bird Ballad DSP which will be available to purchase from the new Annual Catalogue on 4 June. It is by far my favourite pack of 12 x 12 inch DSP in the new catalogue. I love the soft colours and all the pretty designs and illustrations.
I used a gorgeous floral design for today's project.
Of course, if you don't yet have the clear tiny boxes you could just make up a cube like mine using card stock instead of paper, and then jazz it up with some pretty DSP. It's a fold flat design - so perfect for making up in batches and storing away ready for tiny gifts.
The cost for a pack of 16 Clear Tiny Treat Boxes is just £6.75 !
I used the Darling Label Punch Box to stamp and punch the sentiment on the front of my finished project. The stamps, coordinating Darling Label punch, acrylic block and two little ink pads come in a really attractive tin box. My box got dented during my craft room revamp, so I am not a happy little bunny !!
My inserts/cubes measure 1-7/8" inches square.
If you fancy having a go at making up some of my cute fold flat cubes, I have put together an easy step by step video tutorial for you to follow:-
These finished and dressed clear treat boxes would make great packaging for things such as bath bombs, wax melts, etc and would make great little Crafty Fayre items too.
I do hope you like today's project.
Thank you for looking, bye for now and ........."Happy Stampin!"
