Detailed Floral Dies & Butterfly Gala

I am so pleased that the Detailed Floral Dies have carried over into our new Annual Catalogue.

They are so very pretty and versatile.  Perfect for adding intricate detail to both cards and 3D projects.

I wanted to use them to make a see-through card, so I teamed them up with my Butterfly Gala stamp set and Butterfly Duet Punch for this sophisticated little number.

I really love how easy it was to combine them all, creating a really elegant card with really little effort.

Hope you like it too.

Thanks for visiting and please pop back.

Bye for now .......... and "Happy Stampin" everybody !

Easy Origami Rose Box Toppers - Video Tutorial

Hi everyone.

I have been busy looking for new ideas and today I am sharing these super easy origami roses which I have used as box toppers.

I think this is such a cute way to jazz up Stampin' Up!'s Mini Pizza Boxes.  These little boxes are just perfect for food (they are food safe), little gifts and they will also hold 3 x 3 note cards and envelopes.

I experimented quite a lot with the roses and my tip is to use papers that have the same or similar colours on the front and the reverse sides.  I have been using up my retired Brights and Regals 6" x 6" Designer Series Papers from the previous catalogue to make my toppers.  I have provided links for the current packs of DSP below.

I have to say that I love how these have turned out.   You can make them in any size really.  Working with 3-3/4" squares for these roses was the perfect size for my Mini Pizza Boxes.

Why not have a go yourself - you will be amazed at how easy they are to make.  I have made a step by step video to take you through the process.

Hope you like them !    Thank you for taking a look, and please pop back.

Bye for now everybody ...... and "Happy Stampin"!

My Team's Day of Service Cards For The Wycombe Homeless Connection - A BIG THANK YOU !

Last month on 15 May UK Demonstrators were invited by HQ to participate in a Day of Service  for the Wycombe Homeless Connection.

The Wycombe Homeless Connection provide advice and support to those facing homelessness at their support centre in High Wycombe. They run legal drop-in sessions for people requiring legal aid to fight evictions, fortnightly. Each year, they run the Wycombe Winter Night Shelter, which acts as a life-saving measure for local rough sleepers, providing them with temporary accommodation during Britain’s hardest and coldest months.  They have a small, dedicated team of staff and local volunteers, helping to fight against homelessness in High Wycombe.  Those volunteers give up their spare time to support this project throughout the year.  Stampin' Up!'s aim was to say a huge "Thank You" to those who volunteer and the aim was to make approximately 400 "Thank You" cards.

I asked my team if they would like to be involved in a team effort to help meet the quota of 400 and I am proud to say that they stepped up to the mark.

Below are photographs of all their hard work - and I think their cards were just simply wonderful.  I have a very talented team and I am proud of all of them!

So - here we go:-

First up I have a selection of cards made by Sue Bishop who has a Blog over at

Crafty Chrissy contributed the following lovely designs:-

The following set of cards were designed and created by the lovely Karen Sinclair.  Karen, like me, takes a lot of her inspiration from Pinterest and she wanted me to point out that some of her beautiful cards were CASED from cards she spotted there:-

Last, but not least, this wonderful assortment comes from Wendy Porter, who set a similar task for her own team, the Crafty Piglets !

I understand that Stampin' Up!'s UK Office was inundated with cards from Demonstrators from all over the UK, who were eager to participate and help this worthy cause.   This is what makes me feel very proud to be a demonstrator.

Thank you for taking to the time to stop by today.  I hope you can find inspiration from my team's lovely cards.

Have a super day and...... "Happy Stampin!" everybody.

Customised Kraft Pillow Boxes - Video Tutorial

Have you spotted the cute packs of Kraft Pillow Boxes in the annual catalogue?

I think they represent brilliant value for money with 10 per pack for £4.75.  The quality is good and they are perfect for dressing up and embellishing to suit many occasions.  They make great little treat boxes.

For the ones I have used here for today's project, I cut apertures in both the front and back of each pillow box and added window sheets cut down to size.

I have a video tutorial which takes you step by step through the process I used to create mine:-

I do hope you like today's project.  Maybe think about adding a pack of these handy pillow boxes to your next order and have fun customising them.  Or if you are feeling super crafty, make up some pillow boxes in different coloured card stock and get busy !!!

Have a super Sunday everybody.

Bye for now and ........"Happy Stampin'"!
