I think that these toppers would be brilliant for wedding/party favours. Imagine wedding favours colour coordinated to suit the wedding theme colours. Perfect. I have used Stampin' Up!s clear envelopes for this project. They are not classified as "food safe" in the catalogue so any contents should come in wrappers or be pre-wrapped. I like the fact that the clear envelopes seal at the bottom, but are really easy to re-open, should you need to add to the contents. The clear envelopes are great value for money too - there are 50 per pack, at a cost of £5.50 (excluding shipping costs).
The toppers were very simple to make. I used layering circle and scallop circle punches for both the handle and for the pretty flower embellishment. I am always banging on about how much I value having lots of layering punches, but I do stand by that endorsement. It makes projects like this so nice and quick and easy.
I used the new Magnolia Lane DSP (Designer Series Papers). It comes in packs of 12 x 12 inch papers with 2 each of 6 double-sided designs.
I have a step by step video tutorial, taking you through the process of putting these together, and I do hope you find it useful:-
