Bridge Card using the Band Together Bundle and Butterfly Gala in Purple Posy & Highland Heather

We had a birthday in the family yesterday and I have been wanting to make a Bridge Card, so this was the perfect occasion.  It was my son's girlfriend's birthday and she loves butterflies.

I combined my Band Together Bundle with the Butterfly Gala stamp set and coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch to make this card which fits a C6 envelope perfectly.   The card base measures 6 x 6-1/4 inches and and is scored on the short side at 3/4, 1-3/4, 4-1/4 & 5-1/4 inches.

I also used a stitched border die from my Be Mine Stitched dies.

I used the pretty intricate band die to make the bridge across the front, die-cutting it twice and stacking it together before adhering, in order to give it more rigidity.

I also stamped on the reverse leaving space for a little birthday message.

I am happy to report Sara loved her little bridge card - which is what makes card making for family and friends so rewarding.

I can see many possibilities for this style of card, so hope to be experimenting more over the coming weeks.

Thank you for looking and please pop back.

Have a super day and ..................."Happy Stampin!" everybody.

Bye for now.

Linda xx
