Pattern Party Decorative Masks & the New Medium Daisy Punch

Have you tried Stampin' Up!s Decorative Masks ?   These are fabulous masks/stencils for adding great background details.  There are four designs in a pack for £5.50 which I think is pretty good value.  They are made from a durable wipe clean and flexible plastic type material.   They are super versatile, because you can also use them with Embossing Pastes too (click the photo below for more details):-

I used the medallion mask for the background of today's project:-

I used my Daubers to lightly apply some subtle background colours using Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo and Coastal Cabana ink.

My card base is a Stampin' Up! Note Card which come with envelopes in packs of £20 for £5.50.  They measure 3-1/2 x 5 inches.  They are small and neat.  The new Medium Daisy Punch is the perfect size for creating a pretty focal point.   Its not too big and not too small.  I added some punched leaves and the sentiments are from the Well Said stamp set and the Well Written Dies.  I added a clear faceted gem to the centre of my flower and coloured it with my Light Bermuda Bay Blends Pen.  Using Stampin' Blends in this way means that you can colour coordinate your clear embellishments in a variety of colours to suit your projects.

I rather like this subtle colour combo - and I loved using the Decorative Masks in this way.

Hope you like this idea.   Thank you for looking and please pop back.

Bye for now and .............................."Happy Stampin! everybody.

Linda xx
