New Beginnings

Hi everyone and apologies for my little haitus.

I have been on annual leave and a lot has gone on "behind the scenes" with big big changes for me personally.

Firstly, I am no longer a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I made what was a huge decision to resign.  There were many reasons that I took into consideration before doing so and it was not done lightly.

I was a demonstrator for nearly six years, and during that time I built up a fantastic and much valued customer base.  It is those people whom I have to thank for helping me to grow as a papercrafter.  The many many happy chats on the phone, the lovely cards and gifts; the email messages and little words of advice and encouragement and support helped to spur me on.

So with some sadness, but also an excited heart, I can share that I have been accepted on many affiliate programmes such as Arteza, Tonic, Altenew, My Favourite Things, Lawn Fawn, Hero Arts, Sizzix and Spellbinders.... to name just a few.

I shall be locked a way for a little time working on some exciting new projects, using lots of different new and innovative papercrafting "brands" and products and enjoying myself.

There is a huge big wide papercrafting world out there and I am going to dive in and have fun crafting without limitation or restrictions.

I hope you will join me on the way.

Thank you for reading.

Bye for now ................and "happy crafting" everybody.

Abstract Impressions - So pretty

The Abstract Impressions stamp set really is so pretty.

You can use the two-step stamping technique in so many unique colour combinations.   My card today is a very simple one layer card.

I stamped my flowers using second generation stamping for the first layers in Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo to give a much softer lighter impression.   I came in directly from the same ink pads using the next layer using the same colours.    I repeated the process for the leaves using Pear Pizzazz.

I decided to use my Well Said stamp set for the sentiment, combined with the die-cut birthday sentiment from the Well Written set of dies.   I thought the die cut word would look pretty with a sparkle, so I used some Sparkle Glimmer Paper for that.

This was a super quick and easy card.

Thank you very much for having a little look, and I do hope you will pop back for a return visit.

Bye for now and........................"Happy Stampin!" everbody.
