There is something very absorbing about colouring and I can see why adult colouring books have really caught the eye of many.
I recently invested in some Nuvo Alcohol Markers and I love using them, they colour and blend so effortlessly. I used them here on a card which was made using the Flora background stamp which is one in the Garden Party series of stamps from Tonic Studios.
I used my large Tim Holtz stamping platform to stamp up the big image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I found I had to stamp it a couple of times to get a good even black outline and this is what, for me, makes having a stamp positioner tool, a vital part of my craft basics. The bad news is that it is currently out of stock at Tonic Studios, but the good news is that Amazon are doing a special deal. For a limited time it is available to order from Amazon for £22.59, a saving of over £10.
Then I just sat and enjoyed some colouring down time.
I love the card, I love the stamp and I love the Nuvo Alcohol Markers. Hubby even commented that he liked the card when he spotted it !
