Simply Made Crafts - Traditional Paper Pad & Stamp Bundle

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above

I have been having a little play with the Traditional Paper Pad and Stamp Set Bundle by Simply Made Crafts from Craft Stash which I ordered recently.  I have to say that it was the lovely Robin that sold this Bundle to me. I think he's dead cute !  He is part of a 21 piece stamp set.

The coordinating paper pad is a 12 x 12 inch one which has 24 single sided sheets of 180gsm paperstock in 12 designs.   At £15.29 for the bundle, I think this is brilliant value for money.

I put together a simple card which I embellished with some die-cut foliage.  I coloured my stamped Robin using some Nuvo Alcohol marker pens and then used my Spellbinder Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Circles to die-cut the image and layered before adding to my layer of pretty paper.

It was a quick and easy card - perfect if you are making Christmas Cards in bulk.

Hope you like the cheeky little chappy.

Thank you for stopping by.

Bye for now and .................... "Happy Crafting Everybody"!

Christmas Card - Elongated Hexagon Dies by Bright Rosa

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above

I think that the Elongated Hexagon Dies designed by Paula Pascual for her Bright Rosa Range are just stunning.   I love the geometric lines which captures such a funky and contemporary look and makes a really cool card base.  I used the dies for today's card project and also the really eye-catching Christmas Word Dies from the Bright Rosa Range, to create a Christmas Card in a non-traditional colour theme.

You certainly get value for money with the Elongated Hexagon Dies, as there are 20 dies in the pack.  You will require a die-cutting machine such as the Big Shot Plus, designed to take large A4 dies as the basic template cuts out your card base which incorporates the elongated hexagon front, and which makes a 5 x 7 inch card.

If you are a fan of non-fussy cards, then I think the Bright Rosa range is definitely worth considering investing in.  I consider the price point to be quite exceptional and great value for money.

This card was quick and easy to put together and I think it would be great in any colour.

The Bright Rosa range is available from Craft Stash.  If you are a first-time customer you will receive a 20% discount on your first order and shipping is free for orders over £15.

Products from Craft Stash are available to order in the UK, USA (Mainland), Europe, Australia and Canada.

I have placed affiliate links in the Product List Below, which if you use them to purchase of the products (just click the photos for full details), I will gratefully receive a small percentage at no extra cost to you.

Hope you like today's project.  Thank you for looking and I do hope you will pop back again.

A Hello Card using Garden Treasure Stamps and Dies by Altenew - With Distress Oxide Blended Background

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above

Yesterday was an Altenew day for me.

I do love the brand and its gorgeous floral stamps and matching dies, so I dug out a little selection and set to work.

I used the Garden Treasure stamp set and coordinating dies for this card.

I prepped my background panel by blending a selection of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks with my blending brushes (mine are make-up blending brushes which I purchased from Amazon and which do the job perfectly at a great price).

Once I was happy with the blending I added some white speckles by loading up a fine long nibbed paint brush with watered down white ink and randomly flicked the brush at the panel.

Whilst that dried I used the Garden Treasure set of stamps and dies by Altenew, again using my Tim Holtz Distress Inks and some Gold Heat Embossing.

I die cut the sentiment using the really useful Altenew Fine Alphabet dies.  I love these dies because they are not so big that they overwhelm the card, but equally they are not too small.  In the words of Goldilocks - "they are just right"!

I love how the card evolved.  It was a pleasant why to spend some down time.

Hope you like it too and thanks for looking.

I have placed affiliate links below which if you use them to purchase any of the products, I will gratefully receive a small percentage, but at no extra cost to you.

That's it from me for today.

Bye for now and ................."Happy Crafting Everybody"!

Let it Snow - Sparkling Snowflake Cut & Emboss

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above

I used my Sparkling Snowflake Cut and Emboss by Chloe yet again !

I do love this beautiful set which incorporates a large 6x6 embossing folder which also partially die-cuts a beautiful large snowflake at the same time that it embosses.  There are 8 little snowflake dies also included in the set.

I obtained some fabulous card stock by Chloe's Creative Cards and have been eager to use it.  It's very pearly and crisp and the colour I used for today's card is called Lagoon.  It's a pretty bluey/green shade and it shimmers beautifully when it catches the light.

I love the single solitary little snowflake in the centre panel if my card.  I die-cut three of these and stacked them for great dimension before adding to my square panel, and adhering to my cut and embossed base card.

I used two different sets of alphabet dies for the sentiment.

The small dies are from Tonic Studios and the larger alphabet dies are from Altenew.

I am all snowflaked out for now.  I have certainly got some mileage out of this gorgeous set in the form of cards and a beautiful gift box.

Thank you  for stopping by.   I hope you like today's project and will make a return visit in the not too distant future.

Winter Wonderland Large Gift Box by Tonic Studios

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above.

Imagine being given a gift in a box like this !   Isn't it stunning ?

I was invited to be Tonic Studios Guest Designer for this month and received the gorgeous new Winter Wonderland set of dies.

All I can say is - it's amazing.  It really is. You have the base die for forming the elegantly shaped gift box, plus a host of further dies with varying designs for decorating the panels and also for creating pretty decorative accents/labels.  There are two really useful word dies included and a cute little tag die.  So you have the capacity to create boxes in many different designs.

You do need a die cutter big enough to take A4 paper in order to be able to use this kit.  I used my Big Shot Plus.

I felt spoilt for choice - but soon happily set out about choosing my materials and my decorative elements.   I opted to use a beautiful pearly white cardstock as the base for my boxes and chose some really pretty papers from my Craft Perfect 6x6 Mint Blush Card Pack.  This pack has some beautiful subtle shades and gorgeous textures.   I opted for Duck Egg Toille and Salmon Harlequin.

The boxes are really easy to put together.  They are such a good size too.  I honestly cannot wait to see the reaction from the recipients of my gift boxes this Christmas.   They just make the act of gift-giving that little bit more special.

I really did enjoy using this set and I am thrilled with how my first boxes have turned out.  I am going to try creating some that will be suitable for masculine gifts and will share those with you over the coming weeks.

Although the box is called the Winterland Wonderland Large Gift Box, it is very versatile and could easily be used for many gifting occasions and themes and not just seasonal gifts.  You would just need to use your good old trusty crafty stash for creating toppers that are not seasonal.

I made a step by step video showing you all of the kit and how to put one together:-

Hope you like it.

Christmas Gift Box Showcasing the Fabulous Sparkling Snowflake Cut & Emboss by Chloe

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above

I recently shared a card which I made using the striking Sparkling Snowflake Cut and Emboss Folder and die set by Chloe.

Well I have used that spectacular set again to create a really eye-catching Christmas gift box.

This box is a very generous size and is super sturdy too.

I love the way Chloe has incorporated a cutting die which partially cuts and embosses elements of the huge central snowflake, whilst at the same embossing a host of surrounding snowflakes.  Its clever and the end result is pretty stunning. The embossing folder measures 6 x 6 inches.

I decided that my Sparkling Snowflake box needed to live up to its name, so I have embellished it in dozens of sparkling gems.   I made a step by step video and when I had stopped filming, I add loads more bling to it !!   I think someone is in for a treat this Christmas when they receive a gift in this beautiful gift box.

I used Centura Pearl card stock for this project.  I do love pearlescent card and this is quality card stock which I find is great to work with. This is a big box and I find I need more larger boxes for Christmas gift giving, so I have ordered myself some A3 card stock for some upcoming projects. My top tip is - if you want a quality finish, it's not worth wasting your time using poor quality card stock.

I really enjoyed putting together this project and have more coming up using products by Chloe.  You can catch her fabulous new Christmas releases here:-

That's it from me for today.  Thank you for stopping by.

Have a super day and ................."Happy Crafting Everybody!"

My Projects Made Using The Papercraft Society Kit 1 Designed by Christina Griffiths

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above

Hi everybody and Happy Monday !

Today I am sharing the projects that I created using supplies from the Papercraft Society Kit 1 designed by Christina Griffiths.   This kit is no longer available, but Kit 2 designed by Helen Griffin of Simply Made Crafts is now available by subscription.  More details below.

I made a selection of cards, some suitable for Christmas and some for any occasion.  The dies in the kit were lovely to work with, as were the pretty papers and that gorgeous Wreath Embossing Folder.

I also designed this pretty Gift Box/Keepsake Box.  The card stock I used to make this box was not included in the kit.  I used 12 x 12 inch card stock my own from my crafty stash.

I made a step by step video tutorial for this gift box.  If you did not purchase the kit but own large 5x7 dies, then you could create a similar box with your own crafty stash.

Have you subscribed to the Papercraft Society ?
Kit 2 designed by Helen Griffin is out now and available until 21st October. The kits are full of exclusive papercraft goodies WORTH OVER £60.From only £18.74 per box on yearly plans | Free UK Delivery | Cancel Anytime. Delivery is £6 per kit to Europe, Mainland USA and Australia.

If you click the photo above you will find a video revealing the contents.

Thank you for stopping by.   I hope you will pop back.

Flower Border Dies & Love Words by Bright Rosa - Teamed With Pretty Papers from The Paper Boutique

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above.

I have been dying to try out these dies and papers which have been sent to me, so that I could have a little play and share my thoughts.

Designed by Paula Pascual as part of her Bright Rosa collection, all I can say is just how talented is she to dream up such pretty stuff !  I absolutely love the border die which can be cut as I have in the photos I am sharing today, or they can be cut so that the border is inverted (i.e. curving inwards towards the spine of the card).

There are 13 dies in total in this pack which incorporates the striking border, six separate flowers in differing sizes, three stamens and a die to cut out circles to use in the centre of the flowers should you so wish.  I think the flowers create incredible dimension.

I decided to stick to a pretty and gentle pastel colour theme so I used paper from the A Garden in Provence by The Paper Boutique team with pastel Centura Pearl cardstock by Crafters Companion and I have to say that they compliment each other beautifully.   I have some box projects planned for the gorgeous papers and hope to share those over the coming weeks.

I have already shared a Christmas card using some of Paula's clever word dies and today I have used her Love Word collection.  I just love these dies. They are so striking.

I love how this card evolved.  It was fun to create and was made very easy because of the beautiful dies. I am itching to have a go at another one.

Hope you like it and thank you for stopping by.

Have a super weekend everybody and ......................."Happy Crafting"!
