Hi everybody.

Today I am back with another foiling project, only this time you do not need a laminator and you do not need a foiling machine.

I was able to create these pretty foiled flower embellishments using just Deco Foil and WOW! Bonding Powder.

It's a simple, fuss free method and if you would like to see more, then  I have filmed a video demonstration which I hope you will enjoy.

This foiling technique is perfect for creating foiled elements to embellish your cards and 3D projects.

Thank you for dropping by and I hope you will pop back again sometime.

Bye for now and ......................................"Happy Crafting Everybody!".

Foiling Die-Cuts using the Gemini FoilPress - Video Demonstration

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above
Hi everybody.  Following on from my last video demonstration for using Foil Stamps with the Gemini FoilPress, I thought I would pop back today with a follow-up demonstration whereby I have been foiling die-cuts to co-ordinate with my foiled projects.

I am happy to report that it is very straightforward and the results are very pleasing.

For instance, I die-cut the word sentiment for the above card, and came up with a method for foiling it which works for me.   I have followed a couple of video demonstrations where, for whatever reasons, the settings given just did not give me the results I was happy with.

So this short video demonstration gives you my recipe for achieving a beautifully foiled die-cut.

I do hope if you have the Gemini FoilPress or are thinking of getting one, that you find my demonstration useful.

If you are unfamiliar with the the Gemini FoilPress, it is worth mentioning that it is intended to be used in conjunction with the Gemini Junior Die-Cutting Machine.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope that you will pop back soon.

Bye for now and ....................."Happy Crafting Everybody!".

The Gemini FoilPress - I Love It !! Video Demonstration

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above

Hi everybody and "Happy Sunday".

Today I thought I would share a video I recorded demonstrating how I made this pretty card using the Gemini FoilPress.

The FoilPress is my new "favourite craft toy".

I purchased it over two months ago (maybe more) and it sat where I had unboxed it, unused; quite honestly, I was almost afraid to touch it.  I had watched quite a few videos by different contributors to YouTube extolling its virtues and now that I had one, I was really scared that I might be disappointed in it's performance.   Well I shouldn't have dallied.   I have used it several times over the last few weeks and I am simply blown away by the quality of the foiling and the results I have been getting.

My only regret is that I haven't invested in more Foil Stamps to play with, but Christmas is within sniffing distance and I have put some on my Christmas Wish List.  I just hope Santa is listening !!!

Anyway folks, I hope you enjoy my video where I take you through the process of how I made this card.  Its really very simple and not at all complicated.  I just used a few Tim Holtz Distress Inks for my background and the Foilpress did the rest of the work !

Hope you like it.

The Gemini FoilPress is designed to be used in conjunction with the Gemini Junior Die-Cutting Machine.

If you are interested my affiliated link will take you to the Craft Stash webpage where you can see all the different deals that they have at present AND you can obtain a 10% discount up until Midnight tonight.  If you are a new Craft Stash customer, then you get 20% off your first order.    Shipping is free to the UK.  Please note that Craft Stash also ship to Mainland USA, Canada, Australia and Europe too, but I am unaware of the shipping costs for these markets.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you will pop back soon.

Bye now and ................................"Happy Crafting Everybody!".

Distress Oxide Blending on Colour Coordinated Cardstock & Video Tutorial

This site uses affiliated links which means I will receive a small percentage if you use any of my links to purchase products I use for my projects .  Please see Affiliate and Product Disclosure tab above
Hi everybody.

Today I wanted to share this pretty card with you which I made by using various shades of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks on colour coordinated card stock.   By blending the complimentary tones I achieved a really gentle, subtle effect.

I chose a pretty floral stamp which I stamped all over each of my background panels and then heat embossed using Gold embossing powder.

I do like using the Sizzix Curved Border Two Dies to create interesting and pretty borders.   I kept the sentiments very brief by simply adding a festive word to each of my cards.

I love how they turned out, so I thought it would be a good idea to take you step by step through the process of creating them by filming a video tutorial.  Hope you like it.

Well that's it from me for today.  Thank you for popping by and I hope you will pop back again.

Bye for now and ............................."Happy Crafting Everybody!"

Gift Bags with Three Separate Compartments

Hello everyone - it's been a few days since I last posted and I have been super busy designing some more 3D projects to share with you.

Today I have these really useful Christmas Gift Bags.   They are a good size, measuring 9" wide by 8" tall and 2-1/8" deep.

I decided that for this particular design I wanted my Gift Bag to have three separate compartments, the centre one being capable of holding a mini bottle of wine, or a cocktail in a can, or tall cylindrical boxes of sweets such as Smarties, Milk Buttons, etc.

The Gift Bags are very sturdy too.

I had fun with the bows on the front of my bags, opting to make them angular as opposed to rounded and I really like how they turned out.

I have made step by step video tutorial which is rather long - so you may want to designate around 50 minutes to watch it, or perhaps watch half first and the other half when you have more time.  I do hope you like it and feel inspired to have a go at making one yourself.  If you do, why not share it on my Facebook Page which you will find access to in the side bar of my Blog.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you will pop back again for a return visit.

Bye for now and ......................................."Happy Crafting Everybody!"
