I have the watercolour bug at the moment and have been reluctant to put my Altenew 36 Half Pans set of Watercolors away since last week.
So forgive me for appearing a bit of a "one trick pony", but I have been attempting to perfect this watercolour technique.
It's amazing how changing just the card colour combo can alter a look. I used the same watercolour palette as previously but just switched the card stock, opting for a lovely coral and dark grey combination to complement my "artwork".
If you haven't watched any YouTube videos by Creationsceecee, then I would highly recommend that you do if you get a moment. Her tips and techniques for creating simple watercolours are brilliant. I have decided that I really need to invest in some more watercolour brushes.
Instead of a stamped sentiment, I chose to use my lovely Fancy Hello Die by Altenew. I die-cut three words and stacked them to create a focal point with great dimension. I think it's an absolute snip at £4.99 and ever such a pretty font.
I used my Gemini Stitched Rectangle dies setting the die-cut rectangles at "jaunty" angles once more. I really do like this technique.
I like how it all came together. Hope you like it too.
Thank you for stopping by. I would love for you to pop back and would be thrilled if you could think about subscribing to my blog if you haven't done so already.
That's it from me for today. I am off to finish decorating my new craft room, which I hope to share in a blog post here sometime next week, after my new floor has been laid.
The supplies I used for today's project are from Craft Stash UK who provide free shipping in the UK for orders over £15. Craft Stash also ship to Mainland USA, Australia, Canada and Europe. Please see my Product List with affliated links below.
The coloured card stock I used is from Stampin' Up! I am currently using up my old card stock.
Bye for now and ........................."happy crafting everybody"!
