I think it's safe to say that I am one of those crafters who sometimes just bogs herself down, trying to make up cards/projects using one specific brand for say, just the one project.
Well not today ! I decided to pull out an assortment of dies, some which I have had for a good few years.
I used Spellbinders Cannetille Rectangle dies for the intricate centre panel, dies by Card Making Magic for the leaves, dies by Sue Wilson for the flowers and the weeny stitched and pierced heart is by Creative Designs.
I gave my card several layers, and each layer was dry embossed on my scoring board around the edges to give a nice bevelled appearance. I use this trick a lot, because I think it adds a nice finish.
I finished it off with a gold heat embossed sentiment from the Tonic Studios Summer Flowers stamp set.
I used some lovely pearlescent card stock for this project. The main card stock is Barely Blush by Tonic Studios and the soft pink flowers are in Centura Pearl Baby Pink card stock.
I love how this turned out. I am keeping my options open with this card because I think it could be used for anniversaries and for birthdays.
Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by.
Ciao for now folks and ........................"happy crafting!"
