My Mobile Home Stamps by Daisy Mae - A Little Nostalgia

I was incredibly lucky to have been recently sent the utterly fabulous new "A Day at the Beach" collection by Daisy Mae.

I knew as soon as I opened the envelope that this collection is going to be among my favourites of all time.

Clare Rowlands is the talented illustrator of her Daisy Mae brand.  She just has that knack of creating wonderfully nostalgic sets of stamps with brilliant sentiments and I am a huge fan.

I have been spoilt for choice really, but I wanted to kick off sharing some of my new cards using this collection with a set that I am sure will appeal to members of the crafting community who are also avid campers.

This card was made using the "My Mobile Home" set.  I just love the vintage looking caravan stamp and the other ancilliary stamps in the set that you can use to create sweet little scenes.

I used my Spectrum Noir Classique Alcohol Marker Pens to colour the imagery and it was, as always, absorbing and relaxing to while away some time doing so.

I also used the lovely new "Seaside" stencil which is part of the collection to stencil on some sunshine using some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks.

I love the card and I really do love the sentiment.   It just makes me wish I could get away to the seaside for a nice mini break.  Fat chance of that happening for a little while yet unfortunately.

Anyway folks, that's it for today.  I hope to be back with another creation using the "A Day at the Beach" collection shortly.  So thanks for looking and I hope you will pop back for a return visit.

Bye for now and........................."happy crafting everybody!"
