Hi everyone and Happy Monday
Well it's been a while I know, but today I have a brand spanking new video demonstration to share with you.
I made this gorgeous dome top gift box which I sized to hold some fruit tea sachets. I used a beautiful book of papers called The Gift of Giving 12 x 12 Paper Pad with illustrations by Helz Cuppleditch
I made my box after I came across an impressive video demonstation by Teri Pocock for this style of box, and decided to create a larger one.
In my video you will see that I popped 8 fruit tea sachets into my finished box, but I reckon you could squeese in a few more. Its a lovely way to gift tea. But equally the box is suitable for many different small treats.
By happy chance, during my re-sizing exercise, I discovered that you could use the same template but create two quite different looking boxes by simply adapting one of the scoring measurements and this is the result. The top is gently faceted instead of domed. I provide details of how to create this style of opening on my video.
That's it from me for today. Thanks for looking and I would love you to pop back. Please consider subscribing to both my Blog and my YouTube channel if you haven't done so already. I would really appreciate it.
Bye for now peeps and ......................................"happy crafting everybody!"
Linda xx
