A little while ago I shared a project that I had made using pretty napkins as backgrounds for cards.
I have made several since, and they are very popular:-
I thought I would share the process of putting them together. I have a "no fuss" transfer method using double-side tape sheets.
You might notice some pretty embellishments on my card. I took some plain wooden embellishments and used some Nuvo Crystal Drops to add colour. I love they way they turned out. They have a kind of "mother of pearl" appearance which is ever so pretty.
I foiled my sentiment with some black Glimmer Foil from Spellbinders using their Glimmer Hot Foil System.
I used a chipboard frame from Hot off the Press and Stitched and Pierced Ovals dies for the topper.
I have put together a step by step video demonstration showing you how I made the card and customised my wooden embellishments. I do hope you find it helpful.
Well that's it from me for today. If you haven't thought of using napkins to create pretty backgrounds for your cards and projects, maybe you might be tempted to have a go? Let me know what you think or how you get on. I would love to know.
Thanks for stopping by.
Ciao for now and ..................................."happy crafting everybody!"
