A Pretty Gift Box - Paper Discovery Elegant Lantern Die Set

Hi everybody

Today I have quite an ornate project to share.

This box was made using dies from the new Elegant Lantern Die Set which is part of the Creative Castle Collection by Paper Discovery.


I opted for a black/gold colour combination and I am really thrilled with how this turned out.

It's an unusual shape with the domed top and for my design the dome is, in fact, the lid of my box.




I finished it with a selection of pretty mulberry paper flowers and a pretty pink bow.

    I usually don't craft with black, but the contrast between the black cardstock and the gold is just stunning, and has given me inspiration to try this combination. The pink flowers are the perfect contrast for this project!
