I thought that today I would share a video demonstration showing you how I made and foiled the Bon-Bon style gift box. Foiling the edges is a lovely way to add a stylish look.
These would look lovely at Christmas on your Christmas trees. They are also a lovely way to gift small presents and treats. Perfect for baby showers, wedding favours and for decorating your dinner table at Christmas.
I used the Glimmer Hot Foil System and Platinum 6. I found to my cost that being clumsy with the placement of this die resulted in melting the sides of my Glimmer Hot Foil base, so if you try this, do heed my advice to be careful to lay the hot foil plate within the grey gridded area on the base and avoid it touching or overhanging the sides. The slight damage I did to my Foil System base in no way impairs the performance of the system, it just looks a little unsightly. Silly me !
I hope you like my video demonstration and would love to know what you think:-
Thanks for stopping by, and please do pop back.
Bye for now and .................................."happy crafting everybody!".
