Picot Petite Rectangles Etched Dies by Becca Feeken

Hi folks

Today I have a couple of projects to share which I created using the Picot Petite Rectangles Etched Dies by Becca Feeken.

I love the pretty edges Becca has created for the dies in the gorgeous Picot Petite Collection.

I used simple layers of the rectangles to frame the foiled sentiment which is from the Heart Melt Glimmer Hot Foil Plates & Die set.  I did a bit of flower shaping using the Shapeabilities Cinch & Go Flowers III Etched Dies and added a pretty floral spray.  There is something very satisfying about creating your own flowers.

Once I completed my card, I turned my attention to creating a cute little gift box which doubles up as a pretty keepsake box.  The Picot Petite Rectangles for the front and back of my gift box.  I decorated it with some mulberry roses and wooden decorative elements.

I hope you like the little box, because I intend sharing a video demonstration for this one.  Its something a little bit different for me.  I love it, and have to say that my inspiration for it comes from the lovely Tara Brown who is also on the Amazing Paper Grace Design Team.   It's no match for her beautifully crafted pieces, but I am pleased with it.

Well that's it from me for today.

It's a wet and windy Sunday here in the UK and it just happens to be my birthday today.  So I am looking forward to chilling with the Hubster.  Together, we are going to cook a lovely Lamb Roast with Dauphinoise Potatoes, washed down with a few chilled beers/wine and some scrummy jam and fresh cream doughnuts !!!

What's on your menu?

Thanks for stopping by.  Please pop back.

Bye for now and ..........................................."happy crafting everybody!"
